At the outset let me thank God Almighty, the merciful Lord, forHis abundant blessings and pray that He may continue to guideand lead me in the years to come.

I gratefully remember my parents, family members, friends and colleagues who were always my guide and who influenced my life and made me what I am today.

To be elected to this high office in Y's Dom is an honor. I feelit is more of a recognition given to my home club, Y's Men's Club of Cochin Palace, than to my own merits.

I am really fortunate to have an excellent team of dedicated and experienced leaders in my Regional Team. My confidence is in the abilities and efficiencies of our Lt. Reg. Directors andDistrict Governors who are in the path to bring success to ourRegion.

The theme of our International President and Area President is "Audere est Facere" means "just do it or do it now". [St. Mathew 5]says Jesus, "You are the salt of the earth" But if the salt has lost itstaste, with what shall it be salted? It is there after good fornothing but to be thrown out and walked on by the people. Sowe Y's Men members and leaders have to be cautious and carefulin all our activities, towards the society, towards the organization, to be done at the time of need, when and wherenecessary. Yes, 'do it now'.

I want to promote heartwarming love, friendship and fellowship among members, between members and also between family members in our clubs, for which I encourage maximum Inter Club Meetings, Cluster Club Meetings and Programs involving all the family members so as to uphold our slogan 'Onward with the family'.

Y's Men's Clubs throughout the world have been doing yeoman service to the humanity around their community. It is thebounden duty of us, Y's Men, to wipe away the tears from theeyes of those down trodden, less fortunate brethren around us.

Let us continue our caring and sharing work of service to humanity through our Cancer Care and Palliative Treatment programs.
