Regional Vision
THOUGHTS & DREAMS OF THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR
I am very happy to address you as your 22nd Regional Director.

I bow my head before the God Almighty for His blessings, care and guidance, before taking charge of the prestigious post of Regional Director, mid West India Region. I remember my parent I this august occasion, who were always my guide and spirit. I also record my sincere gratitude to the members of my home club, the Y’s Men’s club of Kolencherry, for their instilling support and co operation through all these years which has immensely helped me up to this position. The members of our Region were kind enough to give their wholehearted support and love for electing me unanimously to this prestigious position.

I take this opportunity to congratulate my predecessor Ym. Dr. K Jacob Poulose and his team for their excellent conduct of the Y’s dom activities during last year. They have set a very high record not easy to break. However I am confident that which the dedicated and committed efforts of my dynamic LRDs, DGs, Club officials and members we will be able to achieve the set goals and take the movement to further heights. my team and I in turn hope to travel along the path shown by my predecessors and which to hand over a still healthier Region to my successor.

Y’s Men movement is committed to community service. We should render service to the needy among our brethren. My theme is “Children our hope and future” linked with AP’s theme. The economic and social development of a country should start with the proper upbringing of the younger generation. My dear friends, let us today take a pledge that we will individually and collectively put our might to improve the living standards of those young children who are deprived of their basic needs like proper health, education, love and care. I have taken the slogan “Serve and Strive”. Use all you can to be in service to the needy.

Y’s Men International is a family organization giving great importance to members of the family. Our programs are significantly family oriented, designed for the development of culture, sports and personality particularly of women and children.

Membership conservation and extension are the areas that need special attention. Growth of any ogranisation depends upon extension. My wish is to start new clubs only with proper orientation, at proper places and with quality members.

All Y’s Men should be able to acknowledge the duties and give respect and love. We create good image in the community through our services.

Once again I thank all of you for the trust and confidence reposed in me and I appeal for your whole hearted support, guidance, co operation and above all your prayers to make my term a fruitful and memorable one.

May God bless us, guide us and help us.

Thank you,

Ym. V I Cherian
Regional Director
